专利说明:

Preferred embodiments and further developments of the docking system according to the invention are stated in the subclaims.
With the docking system according to the invention, significant use advantages are achieved. Optional docking station can be detachably mounted on the mounting plate. When docking, place the computer on the mounting plate in a horizontal position and push or push it securely into the docking station. Then the mounting plate is placed in a substantially vertical position, or more precisely slightly angled towards the stand, where the latter is substantially hidden behind the monitor. Conversely, the mounting plate is placed on the flat surface, e.g. the desktop and computer are easily and quickly removed from the dock or their connections from the horizontal dock.
By handling the computer lying on the plate, no oblique loads arise on the connection elements and the handling is simple, convenient and fast.
Additional advantages of the docking system according to the invention consist in that it occupies a small area and a user does not have to perform awkward hand movements or assume uncomfortable body positions when handling.
Brief Description of the Drawings The invention will be described in more detail below in connection with a preferred embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of the docking system according to the invention with a display shown transparent; Fig. 2 shows a side view of the docking system according to the invention, in the left part the docking plate is shown laid down for connection / disconnection of the laptop and in the right part with the docking plate in mounted position on a display stand; Fig. 3 shows the docking plate according to the invention seen from the back; Fig. 4 shows a plan view of a detail of the embodiment of the invention shown in the figures; and Fig. 5 shows alternative embodiments for the nature of the application of the docking plate on the display stand.
Detailed description of the invention The docking system according to the invention consists of two main parts, a display stand 1 and a docking plate 2.
The monitor stand 1 consists of a foot 3, a pillar 4 which is rotatably (at 5) attached to the foot so that it can be rotated at least 180 ° relative to the foot. A screen mount 6 is arranged on the column, which can be fixedly arranged or movably arranged on a slide 7 or the like and which allows the screen to be moved upwards and downwards on the column. The figure shows an embodiment of such a display stand.
To this extent, the display stand does not differ significantly from the prior art and the exact design of the foot, pillar and turning mechanism is not of decisive importance for the invention and will thus not be discussed in more detail in this context.
In the embodiment shown, at the lower part of the column 4, a support plate 8 is arranged next to the foot 3 with a groove 9 which is located at a certain fixed distance a from the column. A support 10, such as a friction cushion, can be arranged at the upper part of the pillar. The significance of these characteristics will be explained in more detail below. The second main part of the docking system according to the invention in the form of the docking plate 2 consists of a substantially rectangular plate on which the docking station 11 is mounted.
The docking station can then be mounted on the docking plate by means of a strap (not shown in the figure). However, it is also possible to arrange a docking station more permanently on the docking plate by means of screws, Velcro, double-sided adhesive tape or the like. Fig. 1 schematically shows a laptop 12 docked in the docking station. The laptop can also be mounted directly on the docking board (not shown in the figure) without a docking station.
In Fig. 2, on the left side, the docking plate 2 is shown in horizontal docking position. As shown in the right part of Fig. 2, the docking plate in the position of use is placed in the above-mentioned groove 9 in the support plate 8 which is arranged at the lower part of the pillar 4. The distance a, see Fig. 4, between the lower edge of the docking plate and the pillar is then adjusted so that the computer 12 rests against the support 10 next to the upper part of the pillar 4 at the same time as the docking plate is folded past the vertical line so that it slopes towards the pillar 4. The total weight with its center of gravity is sufficient for the arrangement to be very stable and no additional securing means should therefore be required.
When docking or disconnecting the laptop 12 from the docking station 11, the docking plate 2 can thus lie horizontally and the computer is displaced towards and away from it, alternatively pushed down or lifted away from the docking station and the docking plate, as schematically illustrated by arrows in the left the part of Fig. 2. This simplifies handling considerably at the same time as the risk of damage to contact members becomes practically non-existent. Because the pillar is rotatable on its foot, these actions can be performed with the monitor 13 facing away from the user and with the docking plate 2 lying at the workplace, normally at the edge of a desk. The user thus does not have to extend over the stand and assume awkward postures to perform docking or unloading of the laptop.
Connection cables 14 between the docking station and the power source and peripheral equipment are routed in a suitable manner and one can choose to let these go directly from the docking station to the respective equipment, as indicated in Fig. 2.
Fig. 3 schematically shows the docking plate 2 with perforated holes which serve as ventilation openings 15, 16, 17, 18, of which the upper opening 15 can serve as handles and the openings 17, 18 which run parallel to the long sides of the docking plate can serve as lead-through holes for e.g. . straps for clamping the computer and / or the docking unit on the docking board. The docking plate may advantageously be made of metal, such as aluminum, iron or steel, or of any suitable wood, plastic or composite material, or a combination of said material.
In Fig. 4 the frame 1 is shown from above partly in cross section to illustrate the support plate 8 and the specific distance a between the pillar 4 and the groove 9 running in the support plate 8, in which the lower edge of the docking plate 2 is placed. This distance a is so adapted that the docking plate with computer or docked laptop 12 leans towards the pillar, i.e. is folded past a vertical imaginary line that passes through the groove in the support plate.
The described embodiment which is also shown in the drawings is simple and reliable and very user-friendly. With the monitor mounted as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the arrangement of the docking plate with the laptop and docking station arranged thereon is substantially hidden behind the monitor 13 and does not occupy any table surface beyond the surface which the foot still picks up. , and is thus space-saving; The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown in the drawings. It is e.g. possible to replace the support plate with its groove with a hinge construction 19, as is schematically illustrated in Fig. 5, so that the docking plate instead of being lifted up and then laid down on e.g. a desk surface via the hinge joint is folded down to a substantially horizontal position for docking the computer and then folded up to the position of use where the docking plate slopes towards the pillar with its friction support. It is then also possible to arrange a locking mechanism in connection with the hinge which automatically locks the docking plate in the position folded up against the pillar, and which locking mechanism is either released with one hand so that the docking plate is folded down, or is designed to offer a certain resistance. which must be overcome in order for the docking plate to be folded down.
Fig. 5 illustrates further alternative embodiments.
One or more depressions 191 with geometry for receiving pins mounted on the docking plate 2 enable a stand-alone vertical position. A hybrid between hinges and recesses is also shown in Fig. 5, the pins having a circular arc shape and the recesses 192 having a corresponding curvature and together they form a movable joint for angling the plate up and down while allowing a free-standing, substantially vertical position. . Alternatively, one or more supports 193 for a lower edge of the lower edge of the docking plate 2 may be arranged on the support plate 8.
